17 The Star

Sorry for the interlude. Was moving and starting a new job. Hope you guys are doing well! Let's get to it!

The Star tarot card, numbered XVII (17) in the Major Arcana, is a symbol of 'hope, renewal, and spiritual guidance'. It often depicts a woman pouring water from two vessels—one onto land and one into a body of water—under a sky filled with a radiant star and seven smaller stars, representing divine inspiration and cosmic alignment.  Mine is a bit different and will probably be painted over.

Hope & Optimism– A sign that better days are ahead after hardship.
Healing & Renewal– Emotional, physical, or spiritual recovery.
Inspiration & Creativity – A flow of fresh ideas and motivation.
Spiritual Guidance– Feeling aligned with your higher purpose.

Be Open to Healing– Take time to nurture yourself and find balance.
Shine Your Light – You have a unique purpose; don’t be afraid to embrace it.

The Star is a powerful card of 'renewal and positivity', especially after difficult times (like The Tower). Are you seeking guidance in a specific area of life?

16 The Tower

The Tower tarot card, numbered XVI (16) in the Major Arcana, is one of the most intense and transformative cards in the deck. It often depicts a tall tower being struck by lightning, with people falling from it, symbolizing sudden upheaval, destruction, and revelation.

Revelation & Awakening– Harsh truths coming to light, leading to clarity.
Destruction & Upheaval – Something being torn down, often to make way for growth.
Breaking Illusions – Realizing that a belief, relationship, or situation was built on unstable ground.

Connections & Symbolism:
Element: Fire – Represents sudden action, destruction, and renewal.
Astrological Association: Mars – The planet of war, aggression, and sudden force.
Numerology (16 = 1+6 = 7): Links to introspection and spiritual awakening.

Advice When the Tower Appears:
Embrace Change– The old must fall for the new to rise.
Let Go of Control – Trying to hold on will only make the process harder.
Rebuild with Awareness– Learn from the destruction and create something stronger.

The Tower can be intense, but it ultimately clears the way for necessary transformation. Do you have a specific situation on your mind?

15 The Devil

The Devil tarot card, numbered  XV (15) in the Major Arcana, is a complex and often misunderstood card. It typically depicts a horned, satyr-like figure (often resembling Baphomet) with a man and woman chained below him, symbolizing entrapment, addiction, or temptation.

Meanings in a Reading:
Temptation & Addiction– Being bound by unhealthy habits, toxic relationships, or materialism.
Illusion of Control– Feeling trapped in a situation, but the chains are often loose, meaning escape is possible.
Shadow Self– Facing fears, desires, or obsessions that may be controlling you.
Materialism & Excess– Overindulgence in physical pleasures, money, or power.

*Connections & Symbolism*
Element: Earth (Capricorn) – Represents ambition, material focus, and discipline.
Astrological Association: Capricorn – A sign linked to ambition but also stubbornness and attachment to structure.
Numerology: (15 = 1+5 = 6) Links to The Lovers (VI), showing a contrast between love and obsession, choice and entrapment.

Advice When the Devil Appears:
Be Honest With Yourself– Acknowledge any unhealthy attachments or behaviors.
'You Have the Power to Break Free'. The chains traditionally used in the image are often loose, meaning the situation isn’t as hopeless as it seems. Be Mindful of Material Desires. Avoid letting money, power, or lust dictate your choices.
